Mark Luney, and the SidewaysBuff brand, are well-known names in the motorsport industry in Europe and the Middle-East. Having been involved in the industry for over 20 years Mark has experience that has been called upon both on and off the track.
Successes on track include five times Irish Model-Car Racing champion, European Drift Championship champion, Autocar Magazine Sideways Challenge champion, and D1 Irl Drift Championship runner-up.
Off track, he can deliver presentations, seminars, and training sessions on car-control, and car-setup, to big audiences or small groups alike. Mark is also fully media-trained, and can talk in front of the camera, as well as perform a consultation role behind the scenes.
On the track, Mark is a master of all trades. From drifting to racing, he can do it. His previous experience includes running several drift ‘academies’, advanced police pursuit tuition courses, and race car tuition days.
Mark receives massive exposure, due to the number of events he works at and also because of the high calibre of these events.
For example, last year Mark took part in the European Drift Championship. 100,000 people came to see these events, as well as many hundreds of thousands more reading about it in mainstream motoring magazines, and tens of thousands watching the action online.
2010 sees Mark take part in more events than he’s ever done before, and with that comes even more exposure. If you feel that your business can benefit from this, and would be interested in sponsoring Mark in any capacity, then feel free to contact us using the button at the top of the page.
