It was a day of firsts at Brands Hatch during Round 4 of the EDC. Not only was it the first time the track was used competitively for drifting, but I came first! Finally, I have taken my first ever EDC win, and first win in the SVA 350z.
To say I'm happy with the result is an understatement, I'm over the moon! Everything seemed to come together on the day; perfect weather, the car was setup just right, and I have never drove better.
As a result I am now fist place in the championship, a place that I wish to keep hold of! To see if I can take another podium finish in the next round why not come on over. It takes place on Saturday 11th July at Santa Pod Raceway, or check back here for updates.
As you may know, earlier in the year I was kindly asked by Knockhill Racing Circuit to tutor at their drift school. The day was so successful that we're doing it all over again. The course gives you the chance to learn how to drift. The day will involve time on the track and the chance to drive a professional drift car. I can now, officially, say that the new SATS Toyota Supra will be unveiled in mid-July. There'll be loads of photos, info, and video on the new car, so be sure to stick around for that.
