It's not everyday that you can say that you’re leading two championships, but that's exactly what Mark 'Sidewaysbuff' Luney can do, thanks to the fact that he is on the top spot of both the British and European drift championships. And to say that he is chuffed is an understatement! Buff has been smiling from ear to ear at the fact he is dominating both of the championships that he competes in.

After taking his first ever win in the BDC last week, he has leapfrogged the pack and is now two points clear at the top. With one round to go, it's all or nothing for Mark, who will be pushing hard for the win. With the likes of Shane Lynch, Declan Munnelly, Simon Perry and Phil Morrison hot on his heels, he will have to pull out all the stops.

In the EDC, he is currently ruling the roost, with a 16 point lead over his nearest rival. There's plenty of room for error, but Buff will be looking to sow everything up and take the title at the penultimate round at Cadwell Park. On form all season, he hasn't put a foot wrong in the Nissan 350z, taking first place at two of the three rounds, with a spin in round 3 handing him second place. However, with the return of Brett Castle to the championship, and Pete Barber looking to turn everything on it's head and snatch the title from Buff, will the pressure break Mark?

So can Buff do the unthinkable and do the double by taking both titles? You can bet on one thing for sure, that he is going to give it a damn good go!
